Northern Forest Canoe Trail Kiosk Project

In 2011, the Northern Forest Canoe Trail (NFCT) began a kiosk development project to help improve the infrastructure along their 740 mile long paddle trail. A grant from the Northern Borders Regional Commission sparked the installation of over a dozen kiosks and interpretive panels. The signs provide valuable map and paddler safety information as well as highlighting local and cultural resources surrounding the trail. Jed was hired as the kiosk coordinator for the panels in Maine and as acted as a liaison between NFCT and local committees who determined the content and layout of the signs.
