In November 2014, OBP Trailworks, LLC partnered with Timber and Stone, LLC to break ground on an exciting new trail in York, ME. Located on top of the iconic Mt. Agamenticus, the Big A Accessible Trail System provides a mile of accessible trail with exceptional panoramic views extending from the ocean to the Presidential Range of the White Mountains. Phase I consists of a loop trail that circumnavigates the summit with four accessible picnic/viewing areas and a circular summit observation platform. Phase II was constructed in 2015 and includes over 2400 feet of accessible trail with 2 boardwalks. Phases III and IV were finished in 2016 and complete the outer loop, traversing ledgy outcrops and providing numerous scenic vistas and a 100' long boardwalk.
